As the girlies where staying with their Dad, I was able to have a midweek evening down at Guardamar beach and port with one of my spanish fotografer friends. It was most pleasant and a welcome break, a stroll, a beer and a sunset - even better as I didn't have to drive.
This is my choice for finish, I was thinking of where reality finishes and reflection begins, but as it was laet in the evening as the sun was going down, I used the first line of a Ralph Waldo Emerson Poem
Finish every day and be done with it.
You have done what you could.
Some blunders and absurdities
no doubt have crept in;
forget them as soon as you can.
You have done what you could.
Some blunders and absurdities
no doubt have crept in;
forget them as soon as you can.
Tomorrow is a new day;
begin it well and serenely
and with too high a spirit
to be cumbered with
your old nonsense.
begin it well and serenely
and with too high a spirit
to be cumbered with
your old nonsense.
This day is all that is
good and fair.
It is too dear,
with its hopes and invitations,
to waste a moment on yesterdays.
good and fair.
It is too dear,
with its hopes and invitations,
to waste a moment on yesterdays.
Here are a couple more pictures taken that evening
